The first VTV Cup 2026, a national football tournament for Vietnamese ethnic minority women, has reached its final stage. The championship match will feature a showdown between Đak Đoa (Gia Lai) and Lục Yên (Lào Cai).

Đak Đoa secured their place in the final after a 2-1 victory against Lâm Bình (Tuyên Quang) in the semifinals. Lục Yên, representing the host province of Lào Cai, advanced following a 1-0 win over Vân Sơn (Phú Thọ), with the decisive goal scored by Nông Thị Huyện.

The final match is scheduled for 09:00 on Saturday, August 29, 2026, and will be broadcast live on VTV5, VTV5 Tây Nguyên, VTV5 Tây Nam Bộ, VTV6, and the VTVGo digital platform.
