Turkish Ministry of Health allocates new physician positions across multiple provinces
The Turkish Ministry of Health has announced significant physician staffing increases across several provinces as part of the 130th Term State Service Obligation (DHY) lottery.
In Diyarbakır, 269 medical positions have been allocated, including 44 specialists and 225 general practitioners. The Gazi Yaşargil Training and Research Hospital is set to receive specialists in various fields such as emergency medicine, cardiology, and oncology.
Tokat will receive 214 new medical staff, consisting of 22 specialists and 192 general practitioners, distributed among the city center and various district hospitals and community health centers.
Düzce has been allocated 98 positions, including 14 specialists and 84 general practitioners. Specialists will be assigned to various departments at the Düzce Atatürk State Hospital, with additional roles distributed to Akçakoca, Kaynaşlı, and Yığılca.
Batman will see an increase of 76 medical staff, comprising 60 general practitioners and 16 specialists, with a notable focus on the gastroenterology branch to strengthen local healthcare access.
