AK Parti leaders announce strategy to end terrorism in Turkey

AK Parti officials have emphasized a strategic push to end decades of terrorism in Turkey through new legislative and social frameworks. During high-level meetings in Istanbul and Sakarya, party leaders discussed the ‘Law on Strengthening National Solidarity and Social Integration’ as a key tool for achieving a ‘terror-free Turkey.’

AK Parti Group Deputy Chairman Abdulhamit Gül stated that the government aims to end the ‘50-year scourge of terrorism,’ describing it as a major obstacle to the country's progress. He noted that the administration is opening a ‘new page’ to eliminate the social and economic costs of terrorism.

In Istanbul, Group Chairman Abdullah Güler presented the legal, social, and political dimensions of the counter-terrorism strategy to party members. The discussions focused on strengthening field operations across 39 districts and ensuring coordinated communication between the party's main, women, and youth branches to promote social cohesion and national development.
