AK Party official demands financial transparency for Kurşunlu Külliyesi

Gürhan Albayrak, the AK Party Eskişehir Provincial Chairman, has called on Odunpazarı Mayor Kazım Kurt to release the income and expenditure statements for the Kurşunlu Külliyesi.

Albayrak claims that based on information from the General Directorate of Foundations, the Odunpazarı Municipality collected 419,000 lira in rent from tenants at the complex while paying only 123,000 lira in rent to the General Directorate of Foundations. He has demanded a detailed breakdown of these figures and questioned how much of the revenue is being used to support local artisans and tradespeople.

Furthermore, Albayrak raised concerns regarding the preservation of traditional arts at the site. He noted that the complex previously hosted various masters of crafts such as ebru, illumination, miniature painting, calligraphy, silverwork, and meerschaum, and requested information on how many workshops and masters remain active under the current administration.
