AK Party official İsmet Zeynep Çiftçi passes away

İsmet Zeynep Çiftçi, a member of the AK Party Women's Branch Central Decision and Management Board (MKYK), has passed away in Ankara following a period of medical treatment.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan issued a condolence message via social media, describing Çiftçi as a “valuable comrade in the path and the cause.” The AK Party Women's Branch also released a statement honoring her contributions to the party, the country, and the nation.

Born in Şanlıurfa in 1982, Çiftçi held various roles within the AK Party Şanlıurfa Provincial Women's Branch and served as a coordinator for the Haliliye Municipality Women's Support Centers. Her funeral service is scheduled to be held at the Yusuf Paşa Mosque in Şanlıurfa, followed by burial at the Bediüzzaman Family Cemetery.
