AK Party official marks 24 years of governance in Turkey

Hüseyin Yayman, AK Party Vice Chairman and Head of Culture and Arts Policies, issued statements commemorating the 24th anniversary of the party taking power on November 3, 2002. Yayman characterized the party's continuous tenure through 18 elections as a record-breaking achievement in Turkish democratic history.

He asserted that the AK Party has transformed Turkey from a developing nation into a global power through significant infrastructure projects, including city hospitals, highways, airports, and universities. Yayman emphasized that the party has shifted the paradigm of politics, the state, and governance in the country.

Additional commentary regarding the party's history notes its ability to navigate various crises, such as the FETÖ terror organization challenge, and its role in regional strategic developments. These include initiatives like the Development Road vision involving Iraq and Syria, diplomatic partnerships with Egypt regarding Somalia, Sudan, and Libya, and various maritime and energy agreements.
