AK Party provincial chairs in Istanbul and Adana highlight local projects and appointments
Abdullah Özdemir, the AK Party provincial chair for Istanbul, told a party meeting that the city has been losing "blood" since 2019 and praised the party’s municipalities for delivering the most services among all Turkish cities. He highlighted recent urban‑transformation projects, the reopening of facilities previously closed by the municipality, and the ongoing rehabilitation of neglected waterways in Beykoz. Özdemir also announced the distribution of title deeds to 1,071 residents in collaboration with the Environment, Urbanisation and Climate Change Minister.
In a separate development, Mustafa Özkan was appointed as the AK Party provincial chair for Adana. The announcement marks a new leadership assignment within the party’s regional structure.
