AK Party Secretary General Eyyüp Kadir İnan visits İzmir

AK Party Secretary General and İzmir Deputy Eyyüp Kadir İnan has announced that Menderes Mayor İlkay Çiçek attempted to join the AK Party for 1.5 years, but the request was rejected by the party’s authorized committees. During a visit to Menderes Deputy Mayor Asuman Şen, İnan emphasized the party’s selectivity in admitting new members to maintain its standards.

In addition to these remarks, İnan is conducting an extensive field program across İzmir from August 18 to August 23. His schedule includes visits to various districts such as Menderes, Menemen, Bergama, and Dikili. The itinerary involves meetings with local officials, party members, and citizens, as well as attending events like the Menemen Municipality City Archive and Museum foundation ceremony and the Dikili State Hospital opening program.
