AK Party Secretary General İnan addresses fund allegations in Manisa

AK Party Secretary General Eyyüp Kadir İnan addressed allegations regarding certain funds during a political program in Manisa. İnan stated that the party is committed to fighting ‘fund devils’ to the end, following instructions from the President. He noted that the State Supervisory Council has been activated, economic boards have been formed, and legislative proposals have been submitted to address grievances.

İnan reported that authorities have seized assets and arrested members of organized criminal networks involved in the matter. He criticized opposition figures, specifically targeting Yeni Parti leader Özgür Özel, accusing them of using rumors and slander instead of focusing on service and documentation. He compared the current political climate to previous struggles against FETÖ, suggesting that some are targeting those fighting the fund crisis rather than the criminals themselves.

During the visit, local AK Party officials also highlighted regional investments in Manisa, including significant state investments exceeding 70 billion lira and the progress of major hospital projects in Salihli and Akhisar.
