Aşk ve Taht historical drama series releases first trailer

The historical drama series ‘Aşk ve Taht’ (Love and Throne), produced by Bozdağ Film for the ATV network, has released its first promotional trailer. The series is set during the golden age of the Anatolian Seljuk Empire and focuses on the life of Sultan Alaeddin Keykubad, tracing his journey from imprisonment to the throne.

The narrative is expected to explore themes of power struggles, palace intrigues, harem politics, and an epic romance between Sultan Alaeddin Keykubad and Princess Destina. The production features a large cast, including lead actors Akın Akınözü, Merjem Šiljak, and Simay Barlas, supported by Ayça Bingöl, Cem Bender, and Halil İbrahim Ceyhan.

While an exact premiere date has not been officially confirmed by ATV, the project is anticipated to debut during the 2026-2027 broadcasting season, likely in late September or October.
