Akachan Honpo hosts events for Baby Day on October 10
Akachan Honpo is hosting a series of commemorative events for ‘Baby Day’ on October 10, a date established by the company in 2010 to celebrate the birth of infants and promote a society that supports child-rearing. The date is derived from ‘totokioka’, referring to the ten months of pregnancy.
From September 13 to October 31, various activities will be held at participating stores, including crawling races, handprint stamping, family calendar photo sessions, and baby sumo wrestling. Participants in the crawling races may receive red socks as a gift.
Additionally, the company is conducting a social contribution initiative titled ‘Furugi de Vaccine’ (Vaccine through Used Clothing). From October 2 to October 12, customers can donate outgrown children's clothing at Akachan Honpo service counters. The collected items will be sold globally, with proceeds used to donate polio vaccines to children in need.
