Manisa Metropolitan Municipality has completed the first training period of Akademi Manisa, a program designed to help children and youth develop digital skills. A total of 126 participants completed courses in algorithm, coding, and game programming.
The curriculum was divided by age group: 83 students aged 10-14 participated in ‘Introduction to Algorithms and Coding with Minecraft’, while 43 students aged 15-24 attended ‘2D Game Programming with Unity’. The training focused on practical applications including basic algorithm knowledge, block-based coding, and 2D game development techniques.
During a certificate ceremony, Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Besim Dutlulu presented participation documents to the students. Dutlulu reviewed the students' projects and played the games they developed, noting that fields such as coding, electronics, and game development are increasingly vital for the future.
