Akari Takaishi announces second photo book ‘melt’ shot in New Zealand

Japanese actor Akari Takaishi has announced the release of her second photo book, titled ‘melt’, scheduled for publication on December 18, 2026. The book was shot in New Zealand, specifically featuring the landscapes and cityscapes of Christchurch.

Collaborating with photographer Tosei Kamimura, Takaishi chose the title ‘melt’ to describe the sensation of her inner self being revealed during the shoot. The publication, released by Magazine House, is timed to coincide with the eve of her 24th birthday. The book will include a special ‘New Zealand Itinerary’ leaflet.
