Akasa Air launches direct flights from Jaipur to Mumbai and Bengaluru

Akasa Air has officially expanded its domestic network into Rajasthan, launching direct flight services from Jaipur to Mumbai and Bengaluru. The airline commenced these daily operations on October 11.

Co-founder and Chief Commercial Officer Anand Srinivasan stated that entering the Rajasthan market is a natural step in the company’s expansion strategy, noting the maturity of Jaipur’s tourism market. The new routes are intended to provide better connectivity for corporate and tourism travelers between Jaipur and India’s economic and IT hubs.

Following the Jaipur launch, Akasa Air plans to extend its services to Udaipur starting October 15. The airline has also recently enhanced its connectivity at Noida International Airport, offering direct flights to Kolkata, Bengaluru, and Navi Mumbai.
