Mako Sakashita wins Akasaka 5-chome Mini Marathon

During the TBS special ‘All-Star Thanksgiving 2026 Autumn,’ NMB48 member Mako Sakashita achieved the overall victory in the Akasaka 5-chome Mini Marathon, marking the first time a woman has won the event in 25 years. Sakashita expressed her joy in being able to bring a victory back to NMB48, noting that she had been training intensely in the mountains to prepare.

Other participants included Sakura Inoue, who placed 5th in the race. Inoue, an experienced runner who recently completed the Berlin Marathon, shared her excitement on social media regarding her first successful placement in such a competition.

The broadcast also drew mixed reactions online regarding the appearance of assistant girls Sumire Kudo and Marina Fujita, who performed segments in swimwear. While some viewers criticized the presentation as outdated, the performers expressed that they enjoyed the experience. Additionally, comedian Hiccorohee’s appearance in the program sparked concern among fans regarding her weight loss, which she has previously attributed to her lifestyle.
