Akasaka Prince Classic House to relaunch with revived French restaurant

Akasaka Prince Classic House, a Tokyo-designated tangible cultural property, will undergo a change in its business model starting October 1, 2026, following approximately two months of renovation work.

The facility aims to expand its reach beyond wedding services to capture MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) and banquet demand by utilizing its historical and cultural significance. A key feature of this relaunch is the revival of the French restaurant ‘Le Trojanon’ within ‘La Maison Kioi’. Led by Chef Kenji Yoshimoto, the restaurant will offer authentic French cuisine with innovative techniques and seasonal ingredients.

Additional updates include the expansion of operating hours for the ‘Napoleon’ bar to cater to the inbound tourism night-time economy, and the introduction of a cafe offering afternoon tea. The facility will also feature updated furniture and a more spacious layout to provide a high-quality environment for diverse purposes, ranging from casual cafe use to formal dining and private events.
