AKB48 to promote regional gummy election in Hokkaido

Members of the idol group AKB48 will visit Hokuren Kururu no Mori in Kitahiroshima, Hokkaido, on October 24, 2026, to promote the ‘Nippon Yell National Local Gummy General Election 2026’.

Brand ambassadors Moka Hotei and Yui Kawamura will appear alongside a specially wrapped ‘Nippon Yell’ vehicle to deliver messages supporting local production areas and distribute original stickers. The event will specifically highlight Hokkaido-produced Yubari melon gummies.

Coinciding with the promotion, the JA Kitasoraichi Agricultural Products Fair will be held at the same venue from 10:00 to 15:00. Members of the JA Kitasoraichi youth and women’s divisions will sell limited quantities of fresh vegetables, new rice, and soba.
