Akbank launches cash reward promotions for retirees and referral program

Akbank announced a cash promotion for Social Security Institution (SGK) retirees effective August 2026. The scheme offers tiered cash rewards based on the pensioner's monthly net income, ranging from 8,250 TL for pensions up to 9,999 TL, 13,250 TL for 10,000‑14,999 TL, 16,750 TL for 15,000‑19,999 TL, and 20,000 TL for pensions of 20,000 TL or more. Participants must commit to receiving their salary through Akbank for three years.

In a separate initiative, Akbank introduced a "Davet Et Kazan" referral campaign via its mobile app. Customers can earn up to 25,000 TL in chip‑money by inviting new users who open an Axess credit card and spend at least 1,000 TL on their first purchase. Both the referee and the inviter receive cash‑equivalent chip‑money rewards, with additional bonuses for successful referrals.
