Akbar Firmansyah returns to Surabaya for Kendal Tornado FC season opener

Kendal Tornado FC winger Akbar Firmansyah is preparing for the opening match of the 2026/2027 Pegadaian Championship East Group against De Reds FC. The match is scheduled for Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 15:30 WIB at Stadion Gelora 10 November in Surabaya.

The fixture holds personal significance for Firmansyah, as he was born in Surabaya and began his junior football career at the Gelora 10 November Stadium (also known as Tambaksari Stadium). He previously achieved success with Persebaya U-17, winning the 2018 Piala Soeratin, and Persebaya U-20, winning the 2019 Elite Pro Academy Liga 1 U-20 title.
