Akdeniz Municipality conducts infrastructure and park maintenance

Akdeniz Municipality in Mersin is conducting extensive infrastructure and landscaping maintenance across its 65 neighborhoods, covering both central and rural areas.

The municipality's technical teams are focused on road and sidewalk renewals, including asphalt patching, paving stone repairs, and opening new roads in districts such as Hal, Üç Ocak, Mahmudiye, and Gündoğdu. In Kazanlı, heavy machinery is being utilized to repair damaged roadways to ensure safe passage for residents.

Simultaneously, the Parks and Gardens Directorate is performing comprehensive maintenance on green spaces. These efforts include grass cutting, tree pruning to mitigate safety risks, repairing playground equipment, and fixing electrical faults in various parks. The municipality is also responding to specific requests from schools, mosques, and local NGOs to maintain public cleanliness and safety.
