Akdeniz Municipality hosts ‘Emekten Sahneye’ craft exhibition

The Akdeniz Municipality Culture and Social Affairs Directorate in Mersin organized the ‘Emekten Sahneye’ year-end exhibition. The event showcased hundreds of handmade products created by trainees from local Culture and Art Houses.

Participants, including women, youth, and children, displayed works ranging from handicrafts and hand-woven goods to decorative designs. In addition to the exhibition, children from the Adanalıoğlu, Çay, Karaduvar, and Turgut Reis neighborhood centers performed folk dances and stage shows.

Akdeniz District Governor and Deputy Mayor Murat Beşikçi attended the event, inspecting the stands and congratulating the participants for their dedication. Other municipal officials, including Deputy Mayors Mustafa Temel, Mustafa Gündüz, and Yusuf Duman, were also present to evaluate the works.
