Akdeniz Municipality renovates district garbage containers

Akdeniz Municipality is conducting an initiative to replace worn-out garbage containers across the district. The Environmental Protection and Control Directorate is inspecting neighborhoods to identify containers that have reached the end of their service life or are damaged.

To ensure the efficient use of municipal resources, containers that are still repairable are being sent to municipal workshops for maintenance, repair, and painting. The project aims to facilitate healthier waste collection and create a cleaner, more organized urban environment. Murat Beşikci, Akdeniz District Governor and Deputy Mayor, stated that the goal is to improve the quality of life for citizens through effective and regular cleaning services.
