Akdeniz University and Tax Inspection Board sign education protocol

Akdeniz University and the Tax Inspection Board of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance have signed a Graduate Education Cooperation Protocol to enhance academic and scientific collaboration.

Under the five-year agreement, tax chief inspectors, tax inspectors, and assistant tax inspectors will have the opportunity to pursue master's and doctoral degrees at Akdeniz University. The protocol aims to bridge the gap between academic theory and field experience, allowing the institution to integrate professional expertise with scientific research.

Akdeniz University Rector Prof. Dr. Özlenen Özkan noted that the partnership provides significant value for both academics and students by introducing new employment areas. Tax Inspection Board President Muhsin Atcı emphasized that collaboration with academia is essential for keeping audit functions updated and fostering a culture of continuous learning within the institution.
