Akşehir prepares for upcoming agricultural fair

Akşehir is preparing to host an agricultural fair at the Perşembe Pazarı Multi-Purpose Fair Area from August 29 to September 1. Local officials, including Akşehir District Governor Mustafa Yiğit and Deputy Mayor Hüseyin Kısa, met to coordinate the event.

The fair will feature approximately 70 stands showcasing agricultural machinery and equipment. Planned activities include an information session for producers, expert Q&A sessions for farmers, and a calf beauty competition.

Local authorities emphasized the importance of making the event a traditional fixture to highlight Akşehir's potential in agriculture, livestock, fruit growing, and agricultural industry. The municipality plans to expand support for farmers, including potential assistance with vegetable seedlings, seeds, and animal feed.
