Akşehirspor postpones extraordinary general assembly to July 26, 2026

The extraordinary general assembly of 1922 Akşehirspor, the Konya‑province club set to play in the TFF 3. Lig, was held at the Akşehir Culture Center but failed to achieve the quorum required by the club's statutes. The meeting was therefore rescheduled for Sunday, 26 July 2026 at 13:00.

Club president Aydın Ceylan used the occasion to stress the club’s financial restructuring, sponsorship efforts, digital donation initiatives and the need for broader municipal and business support. He called on the Akşehir District Governorate, the municipality, local chambers of commerce and political representatives to help secure the club’s future as a city‑wide brand rather than a burden for a few individuals.
