Akhilesh Yadav attacks BJP over university shutdown and parliament speech

During a public rally in Lucknow, Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav alleged that the BJP‑led government is using political revenge to target Mohammad Ali Jaunpur University. He said the move would demolish the future of thousands of students, especially those from low‑income families, and likened it to a bulldozer destroying their dreams.

In the same Monsoon session of Parliament, Yadav compared the BJP’s actions to those of historic foreign looters and oppressors, accusing the party of obstructing paper‑leak investigations, manipulating reservation policies, and withholding jobs to avoid fulfilling affirmative‑action commitments. He urged the party to stop these measures and pledged Samajwadi Party support for affected students and families.
