Akhisar hosts second Leziz Akhisar Gastronomy Festival

The second Leziz Akhisar Festival took place over three days from October 16 to 18 at Şehit Necdi Şentürk Park in Akhisar. The event aimed to promote the region's rich culinary culture, support local producers, and boost gastronomy tourism.

Visitors were able to sample various local specialties, including Akhisar meatballs, katmer, olives, olive oil, tahini halva, and traditional keşkek. The festival also featured dedicated spaces for women producers to showcase handmade goods.

Expert panels discussed the future of Akhisar's gastronomy, focusing on the city's 2030 vision, geographical indications for local products, and the transition toward healthy eating trends. Cultural activities included musical performances, workshops, and various entertainment programs for all ages.
