AKIBA ANIME adds Zattoo, Prime Video, Titan OS after AnimagiC debut

The free FAST channel AKIBA ANIME showcased its service at the AnimagiC convention in Mannheim, Germany, and announced that it will become available on the streaming platforms Zattoo, Prime Video and the Titan OS. The channel, operated by Mainstream Media AG, aims to provide a curated, cost‑free anime lineup to a broader audience.

CEO Tim Werner said the expansion reflects anime’s status as a global cultural phenomenon and will help attract new viewers. AKIBA ANIME’s current catalogue includes titles such as Demon Slayer, Steins;Gate, Fire Force and Assassination Classroom, supplied in partnership with the anime publisher peppermint anime. Future plans include adding movies like Steins;Gate – The Movie and Assassination Classroom the Movie: 365 Days’ Time.
