Akif Manaf receives Art and Peace Award

Peace activist and author Akif Manaf has been honored with the Art and Peace Award by the Georgian Culture House Association. The award was presented by the association's president, Erdal Küçük, in recognition of Manaf’s dedicated work toward global peace.

Prior to the award ceremony, Manaf delivered a lecture titled “Peace Psychology.” During the event, Manaf emphasized that peace must begin within the individual before being reflected onto the external world, advocating for a transition from a “global to individual” perspective to an “individual to global” approach. He stated, “Every day of ours should start with peace and end with peace.”

Manaf, a Nobel Peace Prize nominee, has received numerous international accolades, including the 2025 International Peace Prize from the France-based International Peace Association and the Global Peace Prize from Sweden.
