Akihabara Drone School partners with KONAMI eSports Academy

Akihabara Drone School, operated by Tanaka Electric Co., Ltd., has entered into a partnership agreement with KONAMI eSports Academy, managed by Konami Digital Entertainment. The collaboration aims to expand career options for students by introducing them to drone technology and the professional opportunities available within the industry.

As part of the agreement, the school will provide special lectures to academy students regarding the social utilization of drones and the role of drone pilots. These sessions include introductions to relevant regulations and hands-on flight experiences using actual equipment.

The two organizations previously interacted through the Transport Digital Business Council (TDBC) and the ‘e-Construction Challenge’. Additionally, Akihabara Drone School serves as a sponsor for ‘KONAMI eUNITED High School’, a high school eSports team at the academy.
