Akiko Wada and Mr. Shachihoko to collaborate on YouTube

Singer Akiko Wada and impersonator Mr. Shachihoko will collaborate on YouTube starting September 12, 2026. The collaboration features content across two channels: ‘Akiko Wada, Becoming Best Friends with an AI Smartphone,’ co-produced by TOKYO MX and Horipro, and ‘The World of Mr. Shachihoko.’

On the TOKYO MX and Horipro channel, the duo will engage in AI-driven debate battles, horse racing predictions involving local gourmet food and sweets, and impersonation performances. Meanwhile, on Mr. Shachihoko’s channel, Akiko Wada will participate in playing popular video games.

Akiko Wada expressed her excitement about the first-time collaboration, noting that interacting with Mr. Shachihoko felt like talking to herself. Mr. Shachihoko described the experience as a dream come true, mentioning that the filming process involved both excitement and tension.
