AKIRA kicks off first solo tour in Taiwan

Japanese performer AKIRA, celebrating 20 years since debut, launched his first solo concert series "URBAN SAVAGE" in Taiwan on August 8‑9 at Taipei's Tri‑Innovation (三創) CLAPPER STUDIO. He arrived at Songshan Airport with fellow EXILE member MAKIDAI, performer P‑CHO and the dance crew THE JET BOY BANGERZ, where more than 200 fans greeted the group, exchanged gifts—including an Hermes bag—and took photos.

The concerts coincided with Father’s Day. AKIRA spoke about his four‑year‑old son, who now talks fluently and even mimics Lin Chi‑ling’s encouragement. He also mentioned monitoring the approaching “White Dolphin” typhoon but confirmed the shows would proceed as planned. Tickets are sold through the ibon system.
