Akis Petretzikis expands media business with Spata hub and SKAI deal

Chef and media personality Akis Petretzikis is expanding his business footprint through the development of the Akis Petretzikis Hub in Spata. The project, which is part of the “Entrepreneurship 360°” scheme under Development Law 4887/2022, involves creating a permanent studio facility for original television and digital content production. The investment includes a budget of €2 million, with €560,000 in tax incentives, and is expected to create 14.5 annual jobs. The site will also feature a two-story restaurant and event space.

In addition to these infrastructure developments, Petretzikis has finalized a new media partnership with SKAI. For the tenth consecutive year, he will host his culinary programming, including “Kitchen Lab” and the travel show “Akis Food Tour,” on the network. The shows are expected to premiere in October, with a tentative date of October 12. This move follows the conclusion of his contract with Alpha TV and marks a significant shift in his television presence.
