Akis Petretzikis joins SKAI as ERT expands weekend programming

Greek television is seeing significant programming shifts with major updates at SKAI and ERT. Chef Akis Petretzikis is returning to SKAI with two of his own productions. Having previously worked with Alpha, Petretzikis has signed a deal to bring his ready-made content to the Faliron-based channel, with an official announcement expected shortly.

Public broadcaster ERT is also expanding its weekend entertainment lineup. Starting in early October, the broadcaster will introduce a new programming block between 13:00 and 18:00, positioned between the main news bulletins. This block will feature two new shows:

First, Elena Papavasileiou will host an interview-based program starting at 13:00. Following this, Thanos Papachamos and Despoina Kambouri will co-host a lifestyle and culture show covering Greek and international showbiz, as well as updates regarding the Eurovision Song Contest.

Additionally, Natalia Germanou’s program, ‘Kalýtera de Ginetai’, is set to receive a new addition to its team.
