Akita City hosts exhibition of 300 plastic models and miniatures

An exhibition featuring approximately 300 plastic models and miniature works opened on September 19 at Fonte AKITA in Akita City. Organized by the enthusiast group Moonshine Factory, the event showcases a diverse range of subjects, including vehicles like cars and airplanes, as well as food items such as sweets and bread.

Notable displays include a highly detailed diorama depicting the French military retreating from a German invasion in 1940, a project that reportedly took one year to complete. Other themed sections feature iconic cinematic elements, such as fighter jets from ‘Top Gun’ and the DeLorean from ‘Back to the Future’. The exhibition runs until September 21.
