Akita City hosts programming school for AI literacy

A programming school event held at Akita National College of Technology in Akita City focused on teaching children and their parents how to interact with generative artificial intelligence.

Nineteen participants, including children and their guardians, took part in the hands-on learning session on August 22. The workshop included activities such as generating animations to help participants deepen their understanding of the correct usage and practical applications of generative AI. The event was part of a programming school initiative organized by Akita Kaishinpo in cities including Akita and Yurihonjo.
