Akita City to host 32nd Goshono Summer Festival

The 32nd Goshono Summer Festival is scheduled to take place in Akita City on August 22, 2026. The event will be held at the Aeon Mall Akita parking lot from 1:30 PM to 7:40 PM.

Planned activities include traditional festival games such as yo-yo fishing, lantern parades by local kindergartens, and musical performances by local school clubs. The festival will also feature food stalls from local vendors and kitchen cars. The event is set to conclude with a fireworks display starting around 7:10 PM.
