Akita City to host limited sale of iburigakko jewelry box snacks

A new culinary arrangement featuring iburigakko, a traditional smoked pickled radish from Akita, will be released at the Akita Gakko Fest in Akita City on September 26. The product, named the ‘Iburigakko Jewelry Box,’ is designed to pair well with alcohol.

Developed by the restaurant chain Dream Link in collaboration with the regional revitalization group Anique, the set includes six different items such as takoyaki, chicken tsukune, rolled omelets, and donuts, all incorporating iburigakko. The ingredients feature iburigakko from Akita Shirakami Food.

A limited quantity of 300 sets will be available for 600 yen at the event held in Nakakoji.
