Akın Gürlek stresses judicial and administrative cooperation

Turkish Justice Minister Akın Gürlek met with district governor candidates during the 111th Term District Governor Course held at the Ministry of Interior. Gürlek emphasized the necessity of coordination between the judiciary and the administration, describing them as the “two hands of the state.”

He noted that the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Interior are currently working through joint action plans. This cooperation has resulted in shared operations targeting organized crime, drug trafficking, the child justice system, violence against women, and cybercrime. Gürlek stressed that for central protocols to be effective, they must be implemented successfully at the district level through harmony between administrative and judicial authorities.
