Čakovec hosts 9th Volim Nogomet youth women's football tournament

The 9th edition of the international “Volim Nogomet” youth women's football tournament was held at the SRC Mladost fields in Čakovec. The event hosted 24 teams across the WU13 and WU15 categories, featuring participants from Croatia and neighboring countries.

In the WU13 category, ŽNK Inker Zaprešić secured first place, followed by ŽNK Aluminij Kidričevo in second and Croatia Stankovci in third. Individual honors for WU13 included Lucija Šporčić as best player, Hana Odrljin as top scorer, and Ella Triplat as best goalkeeper, both representing ŽNK Inker Zaprešić.

In the WU15 category, ŽNK Hajduk Split took first place, with ŽNK Inker Zaprešić in second and ŽNK Donat Zadar in third. Petra Vujina of ŽNK Hajduk Split was named best player, Sara Kovačević of ŽNK Agram was the top scorer, and Marija Lešnjak of ŽNK Inker Zaprešić was the best goalkeeper.

The local team, ŽNK Međimurje Čakovec, finished in sixth place in both categories.
