Akragas defeats Sancataldese 2-0 in Eccellenza match

Akragas secured a 2-0 victory against Sancataldese in their third Eccellenza league match held at the Esseneto stadium.

Luis Henrique opened the scoring in the 12th minute with a header following a corner kick from Osvaldo. Although Akragas had a second goal by Luis Henrique disallowed for a potential attacking foul, they doubled their lead early in the second half through a goal by Giorgio.

Sancataldese attempted to respond, with Torres Marti having a goal ruled out for an irregular position and Viscuso unsuccessfully appealing for a penalty. Despite late efforts from Sancataldese, including a final free kick, the Akragas defense maintained the lead to secure the win.
