Akragas SLP prepares for new season with midfielder Matteo Ledesma and coach Fabrizio Cammarata
Argentine midfielder Matteo Ledesma has joined Italian club Akragas SLP, describing himself as a "midfielder who runs for the team" and expressing hope that the club's Essenteto stadium will become a "Bombonera" for supporters. Ledesma, formerly of Aldosivi, Gimnasia La Plata and Atletico Villegas, said he is eager to start the adventure and give his best for the club.
Head coach Fabrizio Cammarata, appointed after a successful spell with Kamarat, reported that the squad is training intensively ahead of the upcoming Coppa Italia match. He highlighted a ten‑day training camp designed to build cohesion among new and existing players, stressing the need for the team to be in good condition for the season start. Cammarata emphasized the importance of sacrifice, enjoyment, and maintaining high intensity in both training and matches.
