Akrapovič launches JMCA-certified exhaust for Suzuki GSX-8 series

PLOT has launched the Akrapovič Racing Line stainless steel full exhaust system for the 2025–2026 Suzuki GSX-8 series, which includes the GSX-8S, GSX-8R, GSX-8T, and GSX-8TT models.

The exhaust system features an underbelly design inspired by concept models shown at EICMA 2024 and includes a handmade carbon fiber cover with a honeycomb design. It is a plug-and-play system that does not require ECU remapping and is compatible with Suzuki's genuine soft side cases.

Technical specifications indicate the system achieves a 29.1% weight reduction (2.2 kg) compared to the stock exhaust. Internal testing showed a power increase of 1.8 kW at 9,500 rpm and a torque increase of 1.4 Nm at 5,500 rpm. The product has obtained JMCA government certification, making it compliant with Japanese emissions standards and legal for road use. The retail price is set at 273,900 yen.
