Akron volleyball to compete in Indianapolis invitational

The Akron volleyball team is scheduled to compete in the IU Indy/Butler’s Hampton Inn/Indy Invitational in Indianapolis from September 3 to September 5.

During the tournament, the Zips will face Marshall on September 3 at IU Indy, followed by a match against Butler at Hinkle Fieldhouse on September 4. The invitational will conclude with a match against IU Indy on September 5. Akron enters the tournament following a 1-2 season opener at the East Tennessee State’s Buccaneer Classic.
