Aksa Enerji and Tekfen Holding report major financial and project milestones

Aksa Enerji has reported its consolidated financial results for the first half of 2026, achieving a record EBITDA margin of 36%. The company reported an EBITDA of 7.3 billion TL and a net profit of 1.2 billion TL, driven by operational efficiency across its 15 power plants in eight countries.

Key international developments include the full commercial operation of the 264 MW Kyzylorda Combined Heat and Power Plant in Kazakhstan and the completion of the first phase of the 179 MW Kumasi Plant in Ghana. In Turkey, the company is expanding its renewable energy storage portfolio, having launched a cotton-based solar power plant in Gaziantep and the RASA facility in Şanlıurfa, which serves as the country’s first independent electricity storage plant.

Separately, Tekfen Holding is undergoing a strategic transformation following the transfer of its majority stake to ON Investment BV, an affiliate of OYAK. As part of this new era, Tekfen İnşaat, in partnership with Fernas İnşaat, has secured a 54.4 billion TL tender for the Pursaklar-Esenboğa Rail System Line construction and electromechanical systems project.
