Akshay Kumar and R Madhavan to star in Sajid Khan comedy

Akshay Kumar, R Madhavan, Disha Patani, and Shriya Saran have been cast in an untitled comedy film directed by Sajid Khan. Produced by Ektaa R Kapoor, the project is described as a large-scale comedy of errors revolving around middle-aged men.

The film reunites Akshay Kumar and R Madhavan following their roles in the courtroom drama Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh. In this new production, Disha Patani and Shriya Saran will serve as the romantic leads.

Production is expected to begin in London by late 2026 or early 2027, following the completion of Kumar’s alien survival thriller, Samuk. Sajid Khan will direct the project after finishing Hero Ki Horrorine, starring Yashvardhan Ahuja and Nitanshi Goel.
