Actor Akshay Oberoi has joined the cast of the fourth season of the popular Indian web series ‘Aashram’, directed by Prakash Jha. Oberoi has already commenced filming for the upcoming installment, though specific details regarding his character remain undisclosed.

The series, which follows the story of a self-proclaimed godman named Baba Nirala played by Bobby Deol, has been in production since its debut in 2020. Season 4 is being produced by Dishaa Jha under Prakash Jha Pictures and Rishabh Kohli under Parivartan Pictures.

Returning cast members include Chandan Roy Sanyal, Aaditi Pohankar, Tridha Choudhury, Parinitaa Seth, Khan Jahangir Khan, Tanmay Ranjan, Sachin Shroff, and Preeti Sood. New additions to the lead cast alongside Oberoi include Neetu Chandra Srivastava, Pankhuri Gidwani, Armaan Parikh, and Dhruv Chaudhary.
