Aksu Municipality conducts health and social support screenings

Aksu Municipality is conducting ongoing health screenings and social support initiatives across its district to assist citizens in need, including the elderly and those requiring medical care. Teams from the Directorate of Health Affairs and the Directorate of Culture, Arts, and Social Affairs have been visiting neighborhoods such as Cihadiye to identify local requirements.

During these visits, officials are performing health checks, including blood pressure and blood sugar measurements. The municipality is also providing food parcels to those in need and identifying individuals who require physical therapy, hospital beds, or personal care assistance to plan future services.

According to Deputy Mayor Mehmet Alptekin, these efforts are being carried out across 13 neighborhoods, including Altıntaş, Boztepe, Çalkaya, and others, to ensure that the needs of the local population are met through direct home visits.
