Aktiv combine harvester models documented in agricultural archives
Historical records from the Kühnstetter combine harvester archive detail two specific models produced by Aktiv during the 1960s.
The Aktiv M2S, marketed in the first half of the 1960s, featured a straight-through construction with a 1.2-meter wide threshing drum. It utilized a Mercedes diesel engine producing 35 HP and was designed with a second threshing drum to improve performance in wet conditions. The machine included a 1,530-liter grain tank.
The Aktiv 800, introduced in the mid-1960s, represented a modernized design with a simplified concept compared to previous models. It was powered by a 42 HP Perkins diesel engine and utilized an auger and inclined feeder instead of a cloth feeder. This model featured a 1,400-liter grain tank and used straw walkers for grain separation.
