MÜSİAD EXPO 2026 opens in Istanbul with focus on global trade

The MÜSİAD EXPO 2026 International Trade Fair has opened at the Istanbul Expo Center, bringing together 369 companies from 18 different sectors. The event aims to host approximately 50,000 visitors from 114 countries. Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz attended the opening, highlighting that Turkey's total exports of goods and services have reached $405 billion.

During the fair, various industry leaders and officials discussed economic trends. In Bursa, Yılmaz met with business representatives to discuss the city's production power and the challenges of financing for industrialists. Meanwhile, companies such as TUSAŞ, Akyapı, and Albayrak Group are utilizing the platform to showcase aerospace, real estate, and multi-sectoral capabilities to international investors.

Regional economic development was also a focus, with discussions in Trabzon regarding expanding markets into Spain and in Edirne regarding vocational training to meet labor needs in the Hamzadere region. Overall, the event serves as a significant hub for connecting Turkish producers with global trade networks.
